It wasn’t until a week later that you met the other actors and actresses in the film.

Your manager, Hongseok, had cleared pretty much your entire schedule so the rest of PRISM was out promoting while you were waiting awkwardly at the film studio, straightening out your white skirt and thinking of what to say to Sunghoon.

After all, you did kind of audition for Belift as a joke. You were really into Enhypen and Newjeans, so you sent in your singing and dancing tape thinking you weren’t going to get picked anyway. You did, though.

“Hi, sorry I’m late!” The all too familiar Australian accent pops out of nowhere, and your breathing is 10 times rapid knowing exactly who it belonged to. Pham Hanni from Newjeans.

“No worries!” You say, almost choking on the piece of bread you were taking a bite out of. “Greetings sunbaenim!”

You bow but Hanni shakes her head quickly, “ah.. no need. I read your profile, you’re a year older than me, so if anything, I should be the one saying the formalities.”

You don’t get to say anything else before the Park Sunghoon and Kim Gyuvin walk in.

Oh my God. You internally think. You almost have to hold back from fainting because how the hell are you in the presence of Hanni, Gyuvin, and Sunghoon at the same time?!

“This is our main cast,” the director says, who your manager has told you to refer to as Director Jung. “We have a few more idols but they’ll be in and out between episodes.”

The four of you nod, you suddenly feeling so small when in the same room as your talented sunbaenims.

“Today is just introduction and get to know each other day since I know this was probably brought up upon you guys suddenly and it can seem overwhelming and uncomfortable.” Director Jung smiles, showing off his bright white teeth.

“The drama is a romance one, kind of like an American coming to age except Korean, you know? It’s called Parallel Love. The main character, Baek Yunhee is played by Yoon Y/N as you all know.” He then points towards your direction, making the other 3 idols all turn their attention to you. “Yunhee’s love interest is Min Suho, played by Park Sunghoon. The reason I chose the two of you was because you were exactly how I pictured Yunhee and Suho visually and I feel like you would astound me and the viewers with your acting.”

Your eyes subtly peek at Sunghoon, who looks absolutely glorious despite his messy hair and tired eyes. The engene inside of you screamed, but you masked it by biting the inside of your cheek.

“Now, the main female antagonist is Choi Sanghee, which will be played by Pham Hanni. The main male antagonist is Park Wooseok, played by Kim Gyuvin. Sanghee and Wooseok are somewhat love interests, but they’re also Yunhee and Suho’s biggest rivals.”

The rest of Director Jung’s words went from one of your ear and out another as he kept speaking, your vision instead focused on Park Sunghoon.

“Alright, that’s all I have to say! Any questions?”

There’s a few murmurs but no one says anything, so Director Jung hands the four of you individual scripts that were so thick you could slap a person with it.

“It’s time to take the poster photos so let’s get to work guys. Don’t disappoint me.”

Way to not pressure an idol who’s life is already hectic, you think.

synopsis. you’re a newly debuted girl group under belift, and in order for your group to gain more popularity, your ceo offered you the lead role in a new romance kdrama. this all seems great, so what’s the problem? well, for starters, your co star is your senior, park sunghoon from enhypen, and he doesn’t seem too happy about being in a romance drama. especially when your fans have started to ship the two of you!

Your limbs are constantly on fire, the home you once knew laid waste before you. Or, perhaps this is all you’ve ever known, the cacophony of weapons firing throughout the night and day and you scramble through debris like a rat. Whichever it is, this place wears on even the toughest of souls. That is, if there are any left. Soulless creations scatter the battlefield, intent on destroying anything that makes the mistake of crossing their path.

You don’t know if there are others, how you’ve survived this long is a mystery just as great. Your luck seems to run dry as you descend into the earth, the winding paths of precious entities carving their way to its center. The deeper you go, the more confusing it gets, monsters rage against the creations that stomped upon the earth. You don’t even know what’s real or not, hiding and running and praying that you might see the sunrise again.

It comes to a head as you manage to get ambushed by one of these things, metal or flesh, it doesn’t matter, only that it seeks to end the pitiful existence you called life. You can feel the pain that laced through your leg as fresh crimson spills from its wound. You can do nothing but hide your face, trembling in every limb at the shadow that is about to snuff you out. Only for the loud sound of something crashing in, the clashing of steel and the deafening silence that follows after. As it drags on to a concerning degree, you look up. Only to see an armored titan, plating of gold and white, staring back at you. It has no eye holds from what you can tell, but the frozen body language says more than enough. This being is just as shocked to see you, as you are to see it.

You’re surprised with the fact that your shock wares off quickly, though it could stem from the pain in your leg. As soon as you timidly move to scoot back, the armor-clad being seems to shake out of their frozen stupor. They stammer for a second before clearing their throat, accompanied by a poor attempt at regaining their towering posture, only to slump once more as you flinch. It’s very…confusing. A stalemate, one could say. Your heart races as you watch the mini-giant, scooting back until you hit a wall within the strange confines. You let out a soft hiss as your leg jolts, which has an immediate reaction on the towering knight. They close the distance, either ignoring or completely ignorant to your fear in favor of seeking out your injury. It’s only when you pull back from them do they stop for a second, though they’re already on one knee in front of you, arms extended to grasp at the limb. Even kneeling, the gleaming armor towers above like a grand statue. “You are safe.” They say, with noticeable hesitation. Their hands hovering at your sides as your adrenaline starts to fade, leaving behind an aching, sleep deprived shell in its wake. You can’t quite remember what happened next, your eyelids growing far too heavy to keep open. For a moment, you saw the panicked flinch of the entity in front of you as you start to slump, feeling cool metal and leather palms hold you up as drowsiness claims your muddled mind. Next was the overwhelming heat that billowed in front of you, quickly engulfing your form as you descend into a plush, warm space. So soft and warm, the subtle beating of a heart, the rumbling of a voice, and the feeling of being held so close. A gently sigh seeps out of you, allowing this moment to rest.

He didn’t know what to do, what to think. A human? Here? And most importantly, alive? Humanity was gone, reduced to nothing. Or…so he thought, the shock that overwhelmed him at seeing such a small and fragile thing still ringing through his ears. He didn’t know what to do, they were hurt, afraid, he needed to do something. Even though it wasn’t his job, it was his purpose to protect, a purpose that was stripped from him long before mankind’s extinction. This instinct pushed him forward, slipping the injured soul into his maw as he pulled them in as gently as possible. Something both settled and disturbed him as he trailed their decent, the feeling of the fragile beings form filling up their space. He could still taste the iron from their injury at the back of his throat, not caring for it one bit. Now he rests for the moment, his heart fluttering with every tiny movement, every soft breath. The entity lets out a small huff, startled and still shaking off the remnants of it as he gently pressed into the living mass within him. “You are safe. I promise.” He whispered, holding his lightly distended stomach with a palm as he contemplated what to do next.

OKAY SO. there has been a strange lack of zane content in dragons rising. that, and everybody under the sun has noticed he has been acting weirdly more robotic than usually. theres a screenshot of a twitter post SOMEWHERE that i KNOW i saw and thought i saved but now cannot find, where doc wyatt says something along the lines of the writers are working on a bigger plot focusing on zane. i think that plot is going to involve echo zane. and, the administration. there are a few too many loose ends with the administration for comfort, even though it would seem like its plotline is over now that jay isnt there anymore. pssst, its plotline isnt over.

there are multiple scenes where nindroids are shown working at the administration. not being collected because they are 'equipment.' just working there like any other. so why does the administration consider zane specifically 'equipment'? and also, who is in charge? it is mentioned at some point that there is a head of the administration, but nobody actually knows who they are. who else was always behind a mask, always a mystery, nobody actually knew who they were? of COURSE he would want zane to be considered equipment. just like he was. of course he would shove zane, who seemed to be so skilled at administration work, in the mail room.

and, it would tie into zanes plot as well. all of the identity problems after the 'zane competition.' "am i not the zane i once was?" imagine those problems after meeting a replica of himself. a replica who he wouldnt know existed, since seabound was reversed.

echo zane/mr e is absolutely coming back. he will not be obsolete.

I don't think I'll ever find the right words to express how i feel about PS. I left a comment on the last chapter trying to explain but it'd need 100 pages so I'll leave it like that for now. I just wanted to say that Tyrus x Astarion is my favorite Astarion x OC/Tav/Durge in the whole fandom. I tried to get into many different variations of Astarion x Tav by other artists and authors but none of them felt "right" like yours. Tyrus truly is Astarion's soulmate, be it personality - wise, phisically, spiritually, emotionally. I'm so in love with him it hurts. You really had the fundamentals of Astarion's psychology and needs up your sleeve. And I'm just like Astarion, I have a weakness for sweet turned cruel because love and circumstances and smart characters and my addiction to Tyrus is currently dire. I can't stop re - reading PS and devour any extra content you put out.

Also I especiallly wanted to thank you for portraying SA trauma with such immense respect and maturity since many people have no idea how to do it correctly or worse, they treat it like their personal kink fodder.

I know you're dedicating your time to other projects now and you're already writing Astarion's POV and the drabbles but I was wondering if we'll ever get glimpses of their post - Cazador life? I'd love to know how they'd deal with their past and what they'd do with their regained autonomy and freedom to be individuals again.

Ps: not sure whether this should get asked on ko - fi or tumblr so I did both ahahah. Part of me wishes you could write a sequel, I'm not going to lie

Thanks to everyone who commented on ch40 btw, I’ve struggled to start responding to them in part because I wanted to have a general edit of PS done first (alas, with moving a decent distance, my job getting busy, and a bit of burnout, I’ve only finished part I), but also because I don’t want it to end really either, even if I know trying to write a sequel wouldn’t be a successful venture for me. Which is why I plan to continue writing “a flawed eternity” one-shots for quite some time to come! My goal of my own accord is to post a drabble at least once a month, though we’ve surpassed that thanks to a couple wonderful ko-fi supporters 🩵 So yes, plenty of post-PS glimpses to come! I’m so glad my portrayal of trauma and SA resonated and felt respectful for you. As for everything you said about Tyrus…well, it probably comes as no surprise to you all that I love him to death too, and had created him with the express intent to give Astarion a perfect pairing counterpart I didn’t find in the game, personally. It’s so heartwarming that many of you love him just as much too, now—this precious drow lad lives on in our hearts (and the occasional drabble, haha) 🩵🩵
